Horsham residents have until Wednesday (September 19) to put forward views on plans for a new fire station in the town.

West Sussex County Council has put forward proposals to replace the current building in Hurst Road with a new site on the A24 at Highwood.

The station would be a combined ‘blue-light operational and training centre’ with Sussex Police and would also become the base for the fire service’s Business Fire Safety team and Technical Rescue Unit.
