Hanah Mecrow and her six and four-year old daughters, Wynter and Willow, will donate at least seven inches of their hair to The Little Princess Trust.

The idea came about last year, when Wynter asked her mother Hanah if she could cut her hair for charity.

This outstanding gesture encouraged Willow to help her sister provide their locks long to charity.

The generosity of the pair inspired Hanah to create The Trio Chop, in aid of a worthy cause.

Hanah said: "She (Wynter)'s got such a sweet soul, bless her. Last year she asked if she could cut her hair but it wasn't long enough.
