Lidl planning up to 19 new stores across Sussex
And the German discount retailer is also looking at relocating five of its existing stores as it looks to expand.
The chain says it wants to double its existing portfolio and to continue its ‘phenomenal growth’ it requires further sites.

Hide AdFour new stores are being looked at for the Brighton & Hove area and two in Horsham – seemingly despite a new Lidl opening in the town in December.
And a relocated Chichester store opened in March, just days before the lockdown started.
The full list of area’s Lidl is interested in is as follows:-
• Hailsham
• Hastings
• Hove
• Lewes
• Seaford
• Uckfield
Additionally, Lidl’s ‘site requirements brochure’ reveals the chain is also looking to relocate five existing stores in Sussex – in Bognor Regis, Worthing town centre, Bexhill, Crawley and Newhaven.
