Crawley family’s appeal for missing grandparents in Tunisia

Samuel Stocker, from Crawley, and his sister have taken to social media in a bid to find their grandparents John and Janet Stocker.
He has posted pictures of the couple on Twitter as their relatives desperately hear for news.

Hide AdMr Stocker has started a Twitter hashtag, #FindJohnAndJanetStocker as part of the family’s appeal.
He is among many relatives and friends of British tourists who are missing after the massacre who are appealing for information on social media as the agonising wait for victims to be officially named continues.
Islamic State militants have claimed responsibility for the attack, which happened in Sousse yesterday (Friday, June 26).
Today (Saturday) Tunisia’s Prime Minister Habib Essid confirmed that the UK had suffered most fatalities after a gunman opened fire on holidaymakers sunbathing on a beach, killing at least 38 people.

Hide AdSo far, five Britons have been confirmed dead by the Foreign Office, while the Tunisian Health Ministry said eight Britons had been identified among the victims.
