16 people arrested in Lewes and Wealden

Police in Lewes and Wealden made 16 arrests over the weekend.

Lewes Police said on Twitter that eight people were taken into custody for offences including common assault, criminal damage, drink-driving, assault by beating and assault by ABH.

Wealden Police, which also confirmed it made eight arrests, said offences included drug-driving, handling stolen goods, assault by ABH and common assault.
