Man stabbed in St Leonards

A man was stabbed in St Leonards on Friday evening (January 6), police have confirmed.

The incident happened at around 7.20pm.

A police spokesperson said: “Police received a report from the ambulance service that a man had been stabbed at an address in Carisbrooke Road, St Leonards, at about 7.20pm on Friday (January 6).

“A 44-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and remains in custody as initial enquiries continue.

“The injured man remains in a stable condition in hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
