Man who 'threatened to shoot' house caller sparked armed police response in Emsworth

According to Sussex Police, officers were called to The Rookery at 1.50pm after 'concern for the behaviour of a man' in the premises.
The person was ‘reported to have threatened to shoot a caller at the address’, police said.

Hide AdA police spokesperson added: "It was confirmed that the man was alone in the premises and at 3pm he came out of the address and was arrested by armed officers without injury, on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm.
"After being interviewed he was released under investigation."
