Police are investigating after scrubland at Bedelands Nature Reserve in Burgess Hill was deliberately set fire to.
Officers were alerted to the incident on February 1, Sussex Police said.
The force is asking anyone who may have seen or heard anything to get in touch, or if they have any information on the incident.
