‘Inadequate’ - formerly ‘Outstanding’ school in Partridge Green downgraded by Ofsted
Parents of children at Jolesfield Church of England Primary School, in Littleworth Lane, were invited to a special meeting yesterday (Monday July 22) to address concerns relating to the school’s fall from ‘Outstanding’ to ‘Inadequate’ since 2010.
In a letter to parents, the chair of Governors Revd. William Harris stated: “As a result of the inspectors’ findings, the Lead Inspector decided that the school requires special measures in order to ensure that these key priorities are addressed more quickly and rigorously.

The County Times approached the school’s head teachers for comment, but they declined our invitation to discuss Ofsted’s findings.
Do your children attend the school? What do you think of this fall from grace?
