Littlehampton pensioner convicted of drink-driving
Arthur Croft was arrested at 6.25pm on 29 June after officers stopped his Land Rover Freelander in Duke Street, Littlehampton, following a tip-off that he was drink-driving, a spokesman for Sussex Police said.
The 72-year-old had 57 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of his breath – close to double the drink-drive limit.

Hide AdCroft, of Arundel Road, Littlehampton, pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on July 16.
The pensioner was banned from driving for 14 months, fined £125 and ordered to pay £235 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
