NOSTALGIA: Success in the Eastbourne sunshine for Martina
Looking Back reader Andrew Paviour encouraged us to delve into the archives with this fantastic photograph he took at the 1991 Pilkington Glass Ladies Singles Final.
Mr Paviour, who lives in Priory Road, Eastbourne, writes, “With all the work currently underway at Devonshire Park, I recently came across this photo showing Martina Navratilova receiving the trophy. In the background are the original wooden stands.”
