Hastings Community First Responders is holding a drop-in event for anyone interested in getting involved with the volunteers’ lifesaving work.

The independent organisation consists of trained volunteers who respond to emergency calls in their local communities.

As staff levels have dropped since the pandemic, the charity is now looking to ‘get things back up and running again’ with a drop-in session for members of the public to learn more about its work.

The members all have a full time jobs, but also give up their free time to respond to the life-threatening emergency calls.
