Suspected ordnance found on Pagham Beach
The Selsey Coastguard was called to a suspected ordnance on Pagham Beach on Sunday evening.
The coastguard were called to the scene on 7.15pm and the ordnance was located.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team was tasked and arrived on scene, and took the item back with them for safe disposal.

Hide AdA spokesman said: “If you come across any ordnance on the beach or something you are unsure of please do not touch it and dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard!
“Ordnance comes in all shapes and sizes and can be highly explosive, so please do not touch it and call the Coastguard.
“In an emergency out at sea, on the beach or along the coast dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.”
