Eastbourne councillors are to call on government to establish a ‘heritage maintenance fund’ to keep iconic buildings like the bandstand and Motcombe Pool in good repair.

The call was following a debate at a full council meeting on Wednesday (February 23), in response to a motion submitted by Conservative opposition leader Robert Smart.
