Record numbers of people flocked to Worthing this weekend for the annual bonfire night fireworks and Tide of Light festival.

Worthing Lions Club, which organises the fireworks, thanked the public for their generosity at the ‘enjoyable’ event, despite the firework display halting half way through.

The fireworks display followed the annual Tide of Light procession. The procession, organised by Bartie Presents, included a free arts and crafts workship where children got the opportunity to make paper lanterns.
