Runners take on Brighton Half Marathon 2019
They will make off from the start line on Madeira Drive, Brighton at 9.30am, and are set to pass several city landmarks on their way around the 13.1-mile route.

Hide AdRunners will run west along the seafront to the Aquarium Roundabout, where they will then travel east up to Ovingdean.
They will then turn back towards the city at the Greenways Roundabout with cliff top views.
When they make it to the Palace Pier, the route heads north past the Royal Pavilion and up to St Peter's Church.

Hide AdTurning south at Gloucester Place, runners will then head back towards OId Steine and turn right at the seafront.
Almost halfway at mile 7, racers will pass The Grand Brighton where there will be a Community Stage with entertainment.
The course heads towards Hove next, past the West Pier and the British Airways i360.
Once past the two piers, runners will head into Hove along the Kings Road to Hove Lagoon before turning left onto the seafront.

Hide AdA two-mile run past the colourful beach huts on Hove Promenade will bring runners back to the Peace Statue, where the race re-joins the road for the last dash past cheering crowds to the finish on Madeira Drive.
The first runners are expected to make it to the finish line just after 10.35 am.
