VIDEO: Bale lorry fire on A27
A FIVE-TON bale lorry caught fire on the A27 last night, causing traffic chaos between Lancing and Shoreham.
The fire was on the eastbound carriageway, between Shoreham and Holmbush, at 8.49pm.
Firefighters used dry powder and a foam jet to get the fire out as quickly as possible.
A spokesman said the fire was ‘quite deep seated’.
