Crawley Wasps boss happy with cup win over Worthing
Nikita Whinnett and Flo Jackson scored their first goals for the club in the 4-1 win, as Wasps began their defence of the trophy they won in February.
Worthing play three divisions below Wasps in the pyramid, but made for tricky opposition at Woodside Road.

Hide AdThe Under-12s beat Horsham Sparrows Blue 6-0, with Zenab Bah netting twice. Jessica Muscat, Lucie Wormull, Phoebe Brown and Emillie Peacock were the other scorers.
Connie Penlington’s brace, and a goal from player of the match Grace Hill, helped Wasps’ Under-14s beat Hollingbury Hawks 3-1.
Results can’t be printed for the younger age groups, but Isabelle Weatherstone was player of the day for the Under-11s against Oakwood Youth. Team-mate Chloe Mallard won player of the month.
Wasps’ two Under-10s teams played each other. Ayanna Patel-Byrne was named Wasp of the Day for U10s Black and Leyla Tek and Khloe Williams won it for U10s Yellow.
Mia Raven and Brooke Prince picked up the Wasp of the Day honours for the Under-9s against Henfield.
