Jazz FM will celebrate the Love Supreme Jazz Festival with a weekend of special programming.

Marking what should have been festival weekend at Glynde Place, Glynde, East Sussex, Jazz FM are offering a two-day broadcast to include exclusive lockdown sessions, archive recordings, interviews and more.

Spokesman Joe Baxter said: “Jazz FM has announced Love Supreme Revisited, two days of programming dedicated to the Love Supreme Jazz Festival.

“Taking place this Saturday July 4th and Sunday July 5th, on what would have been the 2020 festival weekend, the station’s output will include live recordings of classic performances from over the years including from the likes of George Benson, Caro Emerald, Jamie Cullum, GoGo Penguin, Laura Mvula, Average White Band, Ezra Collective, Mr Jukes and many more.

“Running alongside archive performances and interviews will be a series of exclusive lockdown sessions plus a recreation of the festival’s popular opening night DJ party featuring live sets from John Osborne, Anne Frankenstein and Tony Minvielle.”
