New school will not be complete by September
STUDENTS attending a new secondary school will be taught in temporary accommodation for seven months while construction work is completed.
Work on the new 900-student Broadwater academy, sponsored by Bohunt Education Trust (BET) will begin next year. However, the project will not be completed until April, 2016.
Neil Strowger, chief executive of BET, said: “Walls and windows make a school building but they don’t make a school. Our promise to deliver exceptional education to young people in Worthing remains exactly the same.”
