Crawley head coach Dermot Drummy affirmed Chelsea stars Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard won't to be at the Checkatrade Stadium for a friendly next pre-season, but hasn't ruled it out in the future.

The former Chelsea coach, when quizzed, hinted he may use his contacts in the future to get the Premier League stars in for a prestigious ramp-up friendly.

He has confirmed that Reds can expect a pre-season game against Millwall next season as well as the traditional games against local clubs including Three Bridges.

On whether any Premier League stars could make an appearance in July, Drummy joked the owner will have to get his cheque book out and said: “I think we have got Millwall.

“I’ve spoke to Neil Harris (head coach). I think Chelsea are probably already booked up, I have come in late on that.

“Maybe next year with those contacts (I have), but I am really pleased to get Millwall and we are going to do Three Bridges and the local clubs.

“I want a connection with the local community clubs, we want to help them. When I was at Chelsea, we went to Wealdstone, Hendon and St Albans, the clubs I played as a player, to give a gate receipt.
